About The Position

This role focuses on maintaining store cleanliness and recovery standards to deliver Brand Promises, alongside providing friendly customer service. Responsibilities include assisting customers, managing trash and floors, cleaning assigned areas, and deep cleaning key store areas to ensure a clean and safe environment for customers and staff. The position also involves maintaining cleaning equipment, notifying supervisors of supply needs, and taking initiative in cleaning tasks. Additionally, the role may include providing a fast and friendly checkout experience, executing cash handling, engaging customers in loyalty programs, assisting with Omni channel processes (BOPIS, Ship from Store), participating in truck unloads and stocking, supporting safety programs, and adhering to Standard Operating Procedures.

Requirements

Applicants in the U.S. must satisfy federal, state, and local legal requirements of the job.
Must be at least sixteen (16) years or older.

Responsibilities

Maintain a high standard of overall look and feel of the store, including cleanliness and recovery standards.
Deliver friendly customer service, help customers shop the store and find what they’re looking for.
Collect and dispose of trash following approved procedures.
Dust and damp mop floors following approved procedures.
Move equipment and products for proper cleaning and place products back in correct placement.
Clean assigned areas with the use of assigned materials and equipment.
Mix water and detergents in containers to prepare cleaning solutions according to specifications.
Deep clean key areas of the store including bathrooms, breakrooms, entry ways and other high traffic areas.
Keep cleaning equipment neat and orderly; notify supervisor of supply needs in advance for replenishment.
Seek out areas requiring cleaning and take initiative to complete the task.
Complete all tasks assigned by supervisor.
Perform tasks in accordance with all federal, state and county guidelines.
Maintain positive and respectful interactions with both team members and customers.
Project a positive image and serve as a role model for other Team Members.
Provide a fast and friendly check out experience.
Execute cash handling to standards.
Engage customers on benefits of Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship from Store (SFS).
Participate in the truck un-load, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
Support shrink and safety programs.
Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements.
Execute Company policies and standards.
