About The Position

At Wegmans, Cashiers provide customer service by engaging customers in friendly conversation, carefully bagging items, and accurately completing monetary transactions. They efficiently guide customers through checkout and help ensure they end their shopping trips with a positive experience. Cashiers help create a lasting impression and encourage first-time shoppers to become loyal Wegmans customers. This part-time position is located at 1577 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY 14304. Availability is required in the morning, afternoon, and evening, including weekends. Applicants must be 16 years or older. The pay range is $16.50–$17 per hour.

Responsibilities

Engage customers in friendly conversation while making eye contact and smiling.
Accurately and efficiently scan customers' grocery items and complete monetary transactions.
Properly bag items to ensure products arrive at their destination in the condition they left the store.
Proactively offer additional assistance or services and thank customers for shopping at Wegmans.
