About The Position
Goodwill Industries of Mid-Michigan is seeking motivated, team-building individuals to fill Full Time Cashier Positions at our Fenton Store. This role involves operating the cash register, conducting sales, maintaining accuracy, and preparing clothing racks for the sales floor. The company's mission is to assist individuals with barriers to employment in achieving independence and self-sufficiency, with profits funding programs that support this mission. Additionally, the company is committed to recycling and landfill diversion.
Requirements
- Cash-handling experience
- Reliable means of transportation to report to work on time
- Pleasant, cheerful and professional demeanor
Responsibilities
- Operate cash register and conduct sales-related functions as directed and according to policy, procedure and job standards
- Maintain cash register variance to Goodwill’s acceptable margin of error rate
- Run 3 racks of clothing to sales floor per hour.
