About The Position

Southern Foodservice Management is seeking a Cashier for their dining services at the IRS location in Austin, TX. This role involves operating the POS system, handling cash, customer service, and maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.

Requirements

Responsibilities

Follow Customer Service standards.
Operate the POS system properly.
Adhere to the Cashier Agreement outlined in the Employee Handbook.
Follow proper Cash Handling and Accounting procedures.
Ring sales and collect money.
Perform beginning and end of shift check-ins.
Greet and serve customers.
Maintain proper record keeping as assigned.
Perform cleaning assignments for the entrance area, headcount area, desk, floor, and walls.
Perform other duties or tasks assigned by Assistant Managers or Supervisors, which may include supporting meal production, service, and cleaning.
Maintain daily employee hygiene, including wearing assigned uniforms, hair restraints, proper glove use, and maintaining clean fingernails.
Adhere to daily sanitation requirements, including proper mop and towel usage, and dating all items placed in storage.
