About The Position

The Cashier is responsible for providing efficient and friendly customer service at the checkout counter. This role involves handling transactions, assisting customers with purchases, and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, customer-focused, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment.

Requirements

  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Basic math skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willing to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and evening shifts.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous cashier or retail experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the POS system.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked checkout area.
  • Follow store policies and procedures for handling returns, exchanges, and discounts.
  • Provide friendly and helpful customer service.
  • May be requested to work in other locations from time to time
  • Bend, lift, open, and move products and fixtures up to 30 lbs. as needed
