Requirements

Experience as a retail cashier or similar customer service role
Basic PC and POS system knowledge
Good math and cash-handling skills
Strong communication and customer service abilities
Customer satisfaction-focused mindset

Nice To Haves

Experience with Paladin POS systems
Basic knowledge of yard products or hardscape materials

Responsibilities

Greet customers entering and leaving the store with a friendly attitude
Provide excellent customer service in person and over the phone
Help customers with questions and direct them to products or departments
Process transactions accurately using cash, credit/debit cards, and charge accounts
Issue receipts, refunds, and charge tickets
Accurately count and return change
Verify checks and monitor for counterfeit cash
Maintain clean and organized checkout and front-end areas
Support store appearance and operational efficiency
Report security or loss prevention concerns to management
Ask open-ended questions to better understand customer needs
Promote a positive shopping experience that supports customer satisfaction
