About The Position
CC Holdings is hiring full-time and part-time Cashier/CSR team members for its Shapiros location at the Indianapolis International Airport. The position involves preparing and serving food, maintaining a clean and sanitary station, following food-safety and café procedures, and accurately handling customer orders and payments. Cashiers provide welcoming customer service, promote products and specials, and work collaboratively with the team. The anticipated start date is between October and December, depending on hiring and onboarding timelines.
Requirements
- Must have a liquor license.
- Must have a valid driver’s license to obtain an airport parking pass.
- Knowledge of food-service procedures, sanitation practices, and safe food-handling standards.
- Effective communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent time management, multitasking, and prioritization skills, with minimal supervision.
- Flexibility and ability to work effectively in a diverse, fast-paced environment and adapt to change.
Responsibilities
- Arrive in proper uniform and adhere to grooming standards.
- Set up the station according to café guidelines.
- Prepare food items in a sanitary and timely manner, following portion-control and presentation specifications.
- Restock items throughout shifts as needed.
- Clean and maintain stations while following safety, sanitation, and organizational procedures.
- Use and maintain station equipment properly.
- Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
- Follow food handling, covering, storage, and sanitation procedures to ensure food quality and safety.
- Follow cash-handling procedures; record orders, process payments, give change, and balance drawers accurately.
- Thank customers and encourage repeat business.
- Serve as a role model for customers and staff and assist with on-the-job training for new baristas and cashiers.
- Work collaboratively with team members to support operations and company standards.
- Promote products, services, and special promotions through suggestive selling.
- Perform additional duties as needed.
