About The Position

As a Lowe’s cashier, you help ensure customers leave the store satisfied by providing a quick, friendly, professional checkout experience and helping them get the best value. Most of your time is spent at the register, assisting customers with questions, payments, and exchanges. As needed, you may also help other departments, stock shelves, or move carts. The role is based in a fast-paced retail environment and may involve working inside and outside in varying weather and exposure to noise and moving equipment.

Requirements

• Read, write, and perform basic arithmetic, including addition and subtraction.
• Ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods.
• Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
• Ability to minimally lift 10 pounds unassisted or over 15 pounds with or without accommodation.
• Obtain sales-related licensure or registration if required by state law.
