About The Position

The Cashier position at Food Blue Square Café is responsible for developing and maintaining a service culture that ensures the delivery of superior internal/external guest service. This role involves adhering to all regulatory, departmental, and company policies and procedures, completing assigned side work and checklists, and accurately ringing in guests in a timely manner. The cashier will also be responsible for keeping work areas clean and organized, following company policies related to revenue handling, and using the Point Of Sale InfoGenesis system. Additionally, the role requires maintaining inventory par levels, ordering, and restocking as needed, and possessing knowledge of all promotions and events. Other duties may be assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Develops, maintains a Service Culture that ensures the delivery of Superior internal/external guest service by all team members.
  • Ensures department adheres to all regulatory, departmental and company policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for completing assigned side work and checklist.
  • Ringing in guests in a timely manner and correctly according to tender. Always making eye contact and use the guest name when possible.
  • Keeping work areas clean and organized.
  • Following company policies related to dealing with received revenue, signing out banks or drawers, and closing out revenue centers.
  • Use Point Of Sale InfoGenesis systems.
  • Maintaining par levels related to inventory ordering and restocking as needed.
  • Knowledge of all promotions and events.
  • All other duties assigned
