About The Position

The Cashier role at Food Blue Square Café is responsible for developing and maintaining a service culture that ensures the delivery of superior internal and external guest service. This position ensures adherence to all regulatory, departmental, and company policies and procedures. Key responsibilities include ringing in guests accurately and efficiently, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and following company policies related to revenue handling and bank/drawer management. The role also involves maintaining inventory levels, restocking as needed, and possessing knowledge of all promotions and events. This position requires the ability to operate in mentally and physically stressful situations within an environment that contains bright lights, loud noise, and stressful situations. Responsibilities

Develops and maintains a Service Culture that ensures the delivery of Superior internal/external guest service by all team members.
Ensures department adheres to all regulatory, departmental and company policies and procedures.
Completing assigned side work and checklist.
Ringing in guests in a timely manner and correctly according to tender.
Making eye contact and using the guest name when possible.
Keeping work areas clean and organized.
Following company policies related to dealing with received revenue, signing out banks or drawers, and closing out revenue centers.
Using Point Of Sale InfoGenesis systems.
Maintaining par levels related to inventory ordering and restocking as needed.
Knowledge of all promotions and events.
All other duties assigned.
