About The Position
This position of Cashier will be working in a local school kitchen/cafeteria. The Nutrition Group is a food service management company that believes that each person on our team makes a difference. Requirements
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure; and ability to make currency change
- The ability to obtain clearances and pass criminal background checks required
- A positive and consistent work ethic
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- A willingness to learn and grow within your position
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Food service experience preferred
- Point of Sale experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Handle student lunch sales
- Operate the cafeteria computer Point of Sale and cash register
- Sanitation in conjunction with USDA and state guidelines
- HAACP and health department regulation compliance
