About The Position
Get your foot in the door of the retail automotive business- you’ll have a career! Bob Thomas Ford North needs a full time cashier. Hours 9 am to 6 pm Monday - Friday Every third Saturday 8 to noon.
Requirements
- Experience handling cash, checks and credit cards
- Responsible and organized
- Good communication skills
- Steady work history
- Demonstrate accurate data entry skills
- Must be friendly, efficient & able to handle money accurately.
Responsibilities
- Greeting customers at the cashier window, answering customers' questions and providing information on procedures or policies
- Computing and recording transaction totals
- Counting money, as well as reconciling the cash drawer
- Tabulating parts or service bills using calculators, cash registers, &/or computers
- Issuing receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customers
- Compiling and maintaining non-monetary reports and records
- Process service repair orders i.e.- opening & closing
- Filing & other miscellaneous clerical duties
