About The Position

At Urth Caffé, our Cashiers are the first point of contact for our guests and play a key role in delivering the warm, welcoming experience we are known for. This position requires a friendly, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced, team-driven environment while maintaining the highest standards of customer service and accuracy.

Requirements

• Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
• Basic math skills and attention to detail
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic

Responsibilities

• Greet every guest with a friendly and positive attitude, creating a welcoming atmosphere
• Accurately process orders, payments, and transactions using the POS system
• Maintain a strong knowledge of Urth Caffé’s menu, including coffee, tea, and food offerings
• Answer guest questions and provide recommendations when needed
• Ensure orders are entered correctly and communicated clearly to the kitchen and barista team
• Handle cash, credit card, and digital payments responsibly and accurately
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier station and front-of-house area
• Assist with packaging orders for dine-in and takeout
• Support team members as needed to ensure smooth daily operations
