About The Position

This role is responsible for making cash transactions, verifying cash drawers, giving change, counting cash receipts, and completing cash reports. The Cashier will perform sales transactions in a timely fashion, enter all sales into the cash register to ensure purchases are accurately recorded, and follow standard procedures for issuing cash refunds. The position requires interaction with customers, resolving customer complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner, and being responsible for all assigned change funds and cash receipts, ensuring that cash drawers follow overage/shortage standards. The Cashier must ensure compliance with company service standards, inventory and cash control procedures, and all sanitation and safety requirements. Additionally, the role involves making recommendations, cross-selling products, and introducing new ones.
