About The Position

The Cashier provides exceptional guest service with a “Say Yes to the Guest” attitude. The role operates a cash register, scans or enters merchandise, collects payments, provides correct change, and maintains the security of the cash drawer. Cashiers also bag merchandise as needed and help guests locate items and address questions or concerns.

Responsibilities

Operate a cash register accurately and efficiently.
Collect cash, checks, electronic payments, and coupons; provide correct change and maintain cash-drawer security.
Scan or enter merchandise accurately, including department numbers, produce items, UPCs, lookup numbers, weights, and items that cannot be scanned.
Help guests locate merchandise and respond to their questions or concerns.
Carefully bag guest merchandise as needed.
