About The Position

The Cashier is an entry-level position and is responsible for specific cash transactions within Eagle Mountain Casino’s venues.

Requirements

• The minimum age requirement is twenty-one (21).
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous cash handling experiences preferred.
• Excellent guest service and interpersonal skills a must.
• Flexibility working in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong math skills is a must.
• Familiarity with computers preferred.
• Must be able to obtain and retain a gaming license through the Tule River Tribe Gaming Commission.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to stand and walk for an entire shift.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous cash handling experiences preferred.
• Familiarity with computers preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verify daily bankroll at time of issue.
• Ensure policies and procedures are applied consistently, equitably, and in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Receive payment for merchandise, food, or drink from guests.
• Sign and maintain all receipts for paper and bank accurately and efficiently.
• Performs all credit and complementary transactions with prior identification verification.
• Reconcile and balance all cash and daily receipts at the end of shift.
• Inform on-coming shift Team Members of unique situations concerning guests.
• Must attend and be certified in all applicable training programs required.
• Performs all other departmental duties as assigned by supervisor or management.
