About The Position

Raising Cane’s is hiring entry-level Cashiers to work in a fast-paced food service environment. Cashiers greet and assist customers, take orders and process payments, fill drink orders, work the drive-thru, and contribute to the restaurant’s front-of-house operations and customer experience. No previous restaurant cashier experience is required; paid training is provided. Cashiers may pursue additional responsibilities, such as becoming a Certified Trainer, and may cross-train in back-of-house positions. During the first year, employees can earn up to $1.50 per hour in pay increases through additional training, certifications, and performance evaluations. The listed starting hiring pay is $14.00 per hour. The posting says the company hires for all shifts, including opening and closing shifts.

Requirements

Must be at least 16 years of age.
No prior restaurant cashier experience is required; paid training is provided.
Provide excellent verbal and written communication.
Be a team player, happy, courteous, enthusiastic, hardworking, attentive, responsible, dependable, authentic, and genuine.
Take pride in doing a good job and take initiative.
Be able to lift, carry, push, or pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
Be able to kneel, bend, twist, stoop, ascend or descend stairs, and reach and grasp objects above the head and below the waist.
Be able to work at a fast pace and assist other Crewmembers.

Responsibilities

Greet and assist customers and provide quick, friendly service.
Take customer orders and process payments efficiently.
Fill drink orders and work the drive-thru.
Clean tables, floors, and other restaurant areas.
Follow proper safety procedures when handling or preparing food.
Work with other Crewmembers to complete tasks and maintain continuity of service.
Multitask and work under pressure at a fast pace.
Show up on time for scheduled shifts and comply with company policies.
