About The Position

The Cashier role at Food Blue Square Café is responsible for developing and maintaining a Service Culture that ensures the delivery of superior internal/external guest service by all team members. This position ensures the department adheres to all regulatory, departmental, and company policies and procedures. The Cashier is responsible for completing assigned side work and checklists, ringing in guests in a timely and correct manner according to tender, and always making eye contact and using the guest's name when possible. Responsibilities include keeping work areas clean and organized, following company policies related to dealing with received revenue, signing out banks or drawers, and closing out revenue centers. The role requires using the Point Of Sale InfoGenesis system and maintaining par levels related to inventory ordering and restocking as needed. Knowledge of all promotions and events is also required. Other duties may be assigned. The work environment contains bright lights, loud noise, and stressful situations.
