About The Position

The Cashier is responsible for maintaining an organized system for handling cash, credit card payments, and all required POS operations, including opening and closing procedures. The Cashier must also be knowledgeable and perform all position-related daily checklists. This role involves providing prompt, friendly, courteous, and professional service to customers and other Team Members. Additionally, the Cashier will perform cleaning duties as required by the manager and maintain a clean and organized Cashier Station.

Requirements

  • Must be able to maintain the physical requirements of the job
  • High school diploma or general education diploma (GED)
  • One year experience as cashier preferred

Responsibilities

  • Maintain an organized system of cash handling, credit card payments, and all required POS operations.
  • Perform opening and closing procedures for The Market at the Mountain Restaurant outlets.
  • Provide prompt, friendly, courteous, and professional service to customers and other Team Members.
  • Perform cleaning duties as required by the manager.
  • Maintain a clean and organized Cashier Station.
  • Accurately handle cash and processing of credit cards.
  • Lift and carry equipment, boxes of rental forms, brochures, and incoming packages.
  • Explain and demonstrate Hospitality Behaviors and Performance Standards.
  • Understand where to get the information needed to complete tasks to standard.
  • Explain and demonstrate technical skills used to complete tasks to standard.
  • Explain or demonstrate the behavioral values or standards needed to complete tasks to standard.
  • Understand how to take ownership of problems and solve them when solutions may not be available.
  • Explain how to request help from others when needed to complete task or goal.
  • Have complete knowledge and tell others of IMGR&C products and services.
  • Provide guests with directions or other venue information.
  • Act upon all comments/complaints in a prompt, professional and friendly manner.

  • Report all guest complaints and compliments to Supervisor or Manager.
  • Report all situations to Supervisor or Manager where resort grounds or equipment do not meet IMGR&C standards.
