About The Position

Goodwill Industries of Mid-Michigan is looking for motivated, team-building individuals to fill a Full Time Cashier Positions at our Bad Axe Store located at 780 North Van Dyke in Bad Axe. This position offers $15 an hour, a 20% discount on in-store purchases, and career advancement opportunities through Goodwill Academy.

Requirements

• Can you lift and carry 35 pounds without help?
• Can you reach, bend or stoop?
• Are you able to stand six to eight hours a day?
• Do you have a reliable means of transportation to report to work on time?
• Are you able to distinguish colors?
• Are you pleasant, cheerful and professional?

Responsibilities

• Operate cash register and conduct sales-related functions as directed and according to policy, procedure and job standards
• Maintain cash register variance to Goodwill’s acceptable margin of error rate
• Run 3 racks of clothing to the sales floor per hour.
