Responsible for enacting cash and credit card transactions for menu items purchased by guests throughout the daily restaurant serving hours. This role involves greeting guests, taking and repeating food orders, accurately charging prices, handling payments, and providing correct change. The Cashier must be knowledgeable about the menu and prices, interact with guests in a friendly and fast manner, and be able to efficiently correct guest orders. They also need to identify counterfeit money, verify age for alcohol service, and ensure guest satisfaction. Maintaining a neat appearance, clean work area, and proper hygiene are essential.
