Requirements

• Must be 16 years or older.
• Proficiency in English is required; Spanish skills are a plus.
• Non-slip shoes are required for safety (not provided).
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Reliable transportation is a must.
• Able to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time.
• Capable of lifting and/or pushing or pulling objects weighing up to 40 pounds.
• Able to work in various temperatures, including hot, humid, and cold environments, as well as tolerate moderate amounts of dust and cleaning agents.
• Must be able to work with a wide variety of fresh products without experiencing negative allergic reactions.
• Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, twist, and move around as needed.
• Ability to utilize a step-stool or a ladder.
• Able to maintain physical balance and stability while performing tasks.
• Proficient in both gross and fine manipulation.
• Capable of reaching below or at the waist and overhead.
• Effective speaking skills to convey instructions and communicate with coworkers clearly and accurately, especially in a loud or busy environment.
• Peripheral vision and near and far visual acuity are essential.
• Ability to hear and respond to inquiries and instructions effectively in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Efficiently and accurately scan, ring up, and bag merchandise.
• Handle cash, credit cards, and other payments.
• Provide correct change and receipts.
• Keep your work area clean and organized.
• Assist customers with questions, concerns, and basic product information.
• Follow store procedures for returns, exchanges, and price checks.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth front-end operations.
• Adhere to all safety, security, and company policies.
• Remain attentive and focused during busy periods and extended standing shifts.
