Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous experience in a cashier or customer service role is a plus but not required.
Basic math skills and the ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Operate cash registers and handle cash, credit, or check transactions with customers accurately and efficiently.
Greet customers warmly and provide assistance or answer questions regarding products, prices, and store policies.
Maintain a clean and organized checkout area to promote a pleasant shopping experience.
Scan items and ensure pricing is correct, apply discounts or promotions when applicable.
Process returns and exchanges in accordance with store policies.
