About The Position

As a Cashier at Wegmans, you’ll provide customer service by engaging customers in friendly conversation, carefully bagging items, and accurately completing monetary transactions. You’ll help customers move efficiently through checkout while ensuring they finish their shopping trips with a positive experience. Cashiers help create a lasting impression and turn first-time shoppers into loyal Wegmans customers. The position is located at 53 Third Avenue, Burlington, MA 01803. Availability is required for mornings, afternoons, and evenings, including weekends. Applicants must be at least 16 years old. The role is part-time and pays $18–$19 per hour.

Responsibilities

Engage customers in friendly conversation while making eye contact and smiling.
Accurately and efficiently scan customers’ grocery items and complete monetary transactions.
Properly bag items so products arrive at their destination in the condition they left the store.
Proactively offer additional assistance or services and thank customers for shopping at Wegmans.
