About The Position

Suburban Subaru of Troy is looking for a Cashier. This role involves answering incoming phone calls, assisting customers at the cashier counter, processing payments, issuing receipts, refunds, and change, balancing the cashier account daily, identifying prices, and maintaining the cleanliness of the desk and showroom. Requirements

• Strong attention to detail
• Sense of urgency
• Excellent communication
• Typing – ability to type efficiently to enter accurate information into tracking system
• Mathematics – ability to solve basic math calculations
• Basic Computer skills
• High School graduate or equivalent
• 18 years or older required

Responsibilities

• Answer all incoming phone calls according to company policies and in a friendly and professional manner.
• Assist all customers at the cashier counter in a prompt, friendly and professional manner.
• Receive payment by cash, check, credit cards, or automatic debits.
• Issue receipts, refunds or change due to customers.
• Balance cashier account every day.
• Identify prices of goods, services and total bills using calculator.
• Maintain cleanliness and appearance of desk and showroom.
• Any other assigned duties.
