About The Position

The Holiday Pop Up Thrift Store Cashier - LTE, under the supervision of the Thrift Store Manager, is responsible for assisting customers and operating the cash register. This is a short-term position working at Agrace’s holiday pop-up shop in Madison’s East Towne Mall. This includes customer service and maintaining store standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and work experience
• Reliable transportation
• Basic cash handling and math skills to process payment transactions
• Basic Microsoft Office Suite skills
• Ability to work effectively and cooperatively with others
• Able to work independently
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
• Ability to be flexible in time and task to meet organizational needs

Responsibilities

• Assist customers while shopping.
• Operate cash register and handle money transactions.
• Answer questions about Agrace.
• Maintain store signage and displays.
• Maintain store standards by straightening merchandise and displays.
• Perform cleaning and other general housekeeping duties.
