About The Position

99 Ranch Market is hiring a Cashier to support store customers and operations. The role involves greeting and assisting customers, accurately processing purchases and payments, handling returns and exchanges, responding to feedback, maintaining price information and signage, processing online orders, and keeping the work area clean and organized. Duties may change as business needs require. The position requires periodically standing for long periods and carrying objects over 25 pounds. Flexible scheduling is required, including afternoon shifts, weekends, and holidays. The stated pay range is $16.50–$18 per hour; this is a guideline and not a guarantee. Benefits listed are available only to full-time employees.

Responsibilities

Proactively greet customers and answer questions professionally.
Identify product items properly.
Scan customer orders accurately and efficiently.
Follow cash-handling procedures and complete transactions accurately and efficiently.
Bag items properly.
Answer customer inquiries by phone or in person using appropriate etiquette.
Conduct customer returns and exchanges in compliance with company policies.
Handle customer suggestions and complaints appropriately to support customer retention.
Review, create, and apply new batches.
Update prices in the system.
Create price tags in various sizes and ensure tags and signage are labeled correctly.
Process online orders according to company procedures.
Maintain clean, organized work areas and comply with internal procedures.
Perform other duties as required by business needs.
