About The Position

We are looking for a cashier to join our fun, fast-paced concessions team with Parkhurst Dining on the campus of the University of New England! We're looking for someone who enjoys working with people, provides outstanding customer service, and thrives in a busy environment. This position involves operating the register, assisting guests, stocking products, and helping keep the concession stand clean, organized, and ready for business. Requirements

Standing and/or walking - 100% of time.
Occasionally lifting up to 40 lbs.
Frequently lifting up to 20 lbs

Responsibilities

Acknowledge the presence of our guests IMMEDIATELY, with a friendly greeting.
Utilize the tools provided to stay organized.
Learn menu and daily specials, keeping in close communication with management.
Bus tables and help maintain cleanliness.
Restock/organize areas surrounding the check out counters.
Handle all POS transactions ethically and according to company policies, including all cash, meal plan or swipe, and Cater Trax orders.
Accurately make change for all cash-paying guests, maintain proper counts of all transactions, maintain accurate balance in cash drawer at all times, and reconcile cash drawer after every meal.
