About The Position

This position is responsible for providing cashier services to guests, including providing change for operating slot machines, cashing checks, preparing fills and jackpots, checking banks out and in, checking keys out and in, adding money to safe, preparing deposits, counting and bundling cash, and balancing the bank. The role requires receiving, securing, handling, counting, reconciling, and distributing large sums of money accurately and promptly. The Cashier will operate various machinery to count and wrap coins and cash money, and perform responsibilities in compliance with the Colorado Limited Gaming Act, Internal Control Minimum Procedures, internal policies and procedures, and Colorado Limited Gaming Regulations. Additionally, the position involves completing required casino forms for slot jackpot fill slips, following set procedures for re-filling, and adhering to established policies on proper documentation for all transactions. The Cashier will also assist in providing customer services to all guests, develop and maintain effective working relationships and good customer service skills, maintain alertness and general awareness of casino operations, and keep their supervisor informed of any concerns. Ensuring customers are 21 years or older and complying with established security policies and procedures are also key responsibilities. The role may also involve other duties, including special projects, as needed and directed.

Requirements

Demonstrated knowledge of casino operations, and gaming rules and regulations.
Demonstrated experience receiving, securing, handling, counting, reconciling, and distributing large sums of money quickly and accurately.
Demonstrated effective and diplomatic customer service and communication skills, which includes contacts with employees and customers.
Must have a valid and current State of Colorado Gaming License.

Performs responsibilities in compliance with the Colorado Limited Gaming Act, Internal Control Minimum Procedures, internal policies and procedures, and Colorado Limited Gaming Regulations.

Ensure customers are 21 years or older.
Complies with established security policies and procedures.
Informs supervisor and/or security personnel of any concerns.
Performs other duties, including special projects, as needed and directed.
