About The Position

This position is responsible for providing cashier services to guests, including providing change for operating slot machines, cashing checks, preparing fills and jackpots, checking banks out and in, checking keys out and in, adding money to safe, preparing deposits, counting and bundling cash, and balancing the bank. The role also involves receiving, securing, handling, counting, reconciling, and distributing large sums of money accurately and promptly. The Cashier will operate various machinery to count and wrap coins and cash money, and perform responsibilities in compliance with the Colorado Limited Gaming Act, Internal Control Minimum Procedures, internal policies and procedures, and Colorado Limited Gaming Regulations. Additionally, the Cashier will complete required casino forms for slot jackpot fill slips, follow set procedures for re-filling, and maintain proper documentation for all transactions. The position requires assisting in providing customer services to all guests, developing and maintaining effective working relationships and good customer service skills, maintaining alertness and general awareness of casino operations, and complying with established security policies and procedures. The Cashier will also perform other duties as needed and directed.

Requirements

Demonstrated knowledge of casino operations, and gaming rules and regulations.
Demonstrated experience receiving, securing, handling, counting, reconciling, and distributing large sums of money quickly and accurately.
Demonstrated effective and diplomatic customer service and communication skills, which includes contacts with employees and customers.
Must have a valid and current State of Colorado Gaming License.

Operates various machinery to count and wrap coins and cash money.
Performs responsibilities in compliance with the Colorado Limited Gaming Act, Internal Control Minimum Procedures, internal policies and procedures, and Colorado Limited Gaming Regulations.
Completes required casino forms for slot jackpot fill slips, and follows set procedures for re-filling. Follows established policies on proper documentation for all transactions.
Assists in providing customer services to all guests through various activities. Develops and maintains effective working relationships and good customer service skills with all guests and employees.
Maintains alertness for the performance of all responsibilities and a general awareness of casino operations at all times. Keeps their supervisor informed of any concerns. Ensure customers are 21 years or older.
Complies with established security policies and procedures. Informs supervisor and/or security personnel of any concerns.
Performs other duties, including special projects, as needed and directed.
