About The Position
As a Cashier, you will craft quality customer experiences by providing efficient, effective customer service in the checkout lane that creates a positive and lasting impact on Meijer customers. This role offers a flexible part-time schedule, typically 3 to 4 days per week (~24 hours) with short shifts of 4 to 6 hours per day. Multiple shift start times are available, including morning, midday, afternoon/evening, and night shifts. This position is ideal for adults 18+, parents, students, or anyone looking for extra income.
Requirements
- 18 years of age or older
- Strong communication and listening skills
- Willingness to learn new systems and technology
- Problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot when needed
- Passion for working with customers
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Positive, friendly attitude
Nice To Haves
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred but not required
