About The Position
Honda of Clear Lake is looking for a Cashier who loves helping people and has cash-handling experience. The position involves greeting customers, managing payment and credit transactions, balancing cash office accounts, handling bank deposits, and assisting with clerical duties. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Previous cashier experience is preferred.
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced work environment.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- High School graduate or equivalent, 18 years or older required.
- Drug free workplace.
Nice To Haves
- One to two years of previous cashier experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers who enter the store showroom.
- Direct calls and handle all customer payment and credit transactions.
- Responsible for the daily balancing and reconciling of cash office account/s.
- Handle daily bank deposits.
- Assist the Office Manager and/or General Manager with various clerical duties as needed.
- Identify prices of goods, services and total bills using calculator.
