About The Position

IHOP Cashiers handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and responsibly in accordance with cash-handling policies and procedures. They courteously greet and seat customers, answer the phone, take and prepare To-Go orders, assist with delivering food and beverages, and maintain restaurant cleanliness. Cashiers may also perform other duties necessary for restaurant operations as assigned by the acting supervisor, in accordance with governmental and company policies. The job description is not all-inclusive.

Requirements

• Ability to stand for up to 8 hours during a shift.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• Full mobility of the hands and arms while performing repetitive tasks.

Responsibilities

• Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and responsibly, following cash-handling policies and procedures.
• Greet and seat customers courteously and cheerfully.
• Answer the phone.
• Take and prepare To-Go orders.
• Assist in delivering food and beverages.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the restaurant.
• Perform other restaurant-operation duties as assigned by the acting supervisor, following governmental and company policies.
