About The Position

The essential duties and responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to: providing fast, friendly, and accurate check out services for our customers using computerized cash register systems, handling and counting money, often bag their customers' orders and help shoppers find items in the store. assist in the cleaning and dusting of the check stands and surrounding areas and may take “return” products back to proper shelf locations. Accuracy and basic math skills are important, as is the ability to memorize product identification codes and weekly ad specials. Weighing, scanning, and bagging orders. Performing a cash audit of the contents in assigned cash drawer. General maintenance, dusting, and cleaning of check stands and surrounding area. Resolving service and product related customer service issues. Providing outstanding customer service. Maintaining a neat, well-groomed personal appearance, observing company dress code. Abiding by all company policies and procedures. Performing other duties and assignments as directed.

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age
High school education preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
Must successfully pass math test
Must successfully pass cashier training after hire
TB Clearance required
Must comply with all company policies and requirements
Accuracy and basic math skills are important
ability to memorize product identification codes and weekly ad specials

Evening and weekend availability is strongly preferred. Candidates with open availability will be prioritized for next steps.
