About The Position

This is a holiday-only position for a Cashier. The role involves welcoming guests, communicating resort information, and processing sales transactions accurately and efficiently. Responsibilities include handling cash, making change, balancing cash drawers, and maintaining cleanliness of work areas. The position requires flexibility to work in all locations and assist with various operational tasks, including stocking, cleaning, and guest assistance.

Requirements

Previous cash handling experience preferred.
Must have knowledge of and ability to use computer systems.
Excellent English communication skills required.
Excellent customer service and organizational skills required.
Ability to work under pressure, cross-train, multi-task, and prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

Welcome guests and clearly communicate resort information, special events, and product options.
Provide excellent and efficient guest service.
Perform sales transactions in a timely fashion.
Accurately input products into the cash register with minimal to no errors.
Complete revenue transactions, collect funds, make accurate change, and financially balance cash drawers at the end of each day.
Be willing to cashier in ALL locations and help where specified.
Shovel snow in front of ticket windows and keep the outside ledge clear.
Set up and tear down stanchions.
Perform line control, empty trash cans, wipe down stations, and pick up litter around all stations.
Turn on and off TVs in Rosebuds and Ski School.
Operate the "little Mule" in Rosebuds.
Assist in booting children in Rosebuds.
Know menu items, prices, and applicable discounts.
Stock F&B products in dry storage and beverage cooler.
Clean and restock the condiments counter.
Re-stock and clean hot coco and coffee machines.
Change soda bibs and Co2 canisters.
Set up and tear down the taco bar.
Bus and wipe tables, empty trash and recycle bins, and assist with nightly trash and recycle waste transfer.
Coordinate and cooperate with other departments as necessary.
Be willing to move locations quickly.
Provide information and answer questions about the resort to resort guests.
Perform any other duties that contribute to the cleanliness, orderliness, and overall efficiency of the operation.
