Cashier
About The Position
Cashiers provide fast, friendly, accurate, and safe customer service. They process checkout and return transactions and monitor and maintain the Self-Checkout area. They seek product and project knowledge to answer customer questions and identify selling opportunities, while following policies and procedures to minimize shrink. A Head Cashier positions and supports Cashiers by expediting price checks and approving Point of Sale transactions and markdowns across mainline registers, Self-Checkout, Returns, Pro Desk, Special Services, and Tool Rental. Head Cashiers provide first-level escalation for customer issues and assist with supervising, coaching, and training Front End Associates, including participating in training new Cashiers and using available tools to develop the team.
