About The Position
The Estée Lauder Companies Inc. is seeking a cashier to manage all sales transactions in a fast-paced retail environment. This role involves ensuring all cash handling and reconciliation guidelines are followed. As the final point of contact for customers, the cashier will provide a memorable end to their visit by offering personalized service, ensuring customer satisfaction, and confirming registration in the customer database for after-care services. The position also includes providing product availability information to staff and customers, assisting with occasional staff scheduling, and maintaining a watchful eye on the shop floor to ensure all customers are greeted and served promptly. Excellent communication skills are essential for answering the telephone professionally, following up proactively, and contacting customers about upcoming events, launches, and consultations.
Requirements
- Previous cash handling experience
- Previous retail/guest services experience is desirable
- Excellent communication skills
- The ability to provide inspirational, authentic and personalized customer service
- Ability to work retail hours including days, nights, weekends and special events in a fast-paced work environment
- Previous experience with retail point-of-sale software
- Applicants must be able to provide proof of right to live and work in the country if invited to attend for interview
Responsibilities
