About The Position

Proof of the Pudding (POP) is an award-winning catering company throughout the Southeast with a commitment to creating quality culinary innovations. This standard was upheld through the expansion into Sports and Entertainment Hospitality Services by providing elevated concessions and premium offerings to collegiate stadiums, PGA golf tournaments, International Boat Shows, Professional Sports Teams, & more. We are seeking a friendly and dependable Cashier to join our student-athletes training table team at Mississippi State University. This individual will be responsible for welcoming student athletes and ensuring they properly swipe their ID cards to access the dining facility.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
Must live near Starkville, MS.
Must be available during student-athlete meal times and events.
Customer service or food service experience preferred.
Must enjoy interacting with students in a friendly and helpful manner.
Excellent listening and communication skills.
Positive attitude and team-player mindset.
Ability to work standing for extended periods.
Punctuality and reliability are a must.

Responsibilities

Greet student-athletes as they arrive at the training table dining area.
Ensure each student swipes their ID card for proper access.
Assist with minor card issues by communicating with management or directing students appropriately.
Maintain a welcoming, courteous, and professional presence at all times.
Help manage the flow of students to prevent crowding or delays.
Keep the entry area clean, organized, and presentable.
Support dining team members as needed during service.
Contribute to a positive, team-oriented atmosphere.
