About The Position

Capriottis is seeking a Full-Time/Part-Time Cashier for their location at 283 NYNY in Las Vegas, NV. This role involves handling monetary transactions, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean work environment. New hires will undergo a 180-day introductory period where performance will be evaluated. Schedule flexibility is required based on business needs, and excellent attendance is essential. The position requires English comprehension for safety, job instructions, policy, and guest service. The job also emphasizes having fun while working.

Requirements

  • Must have English comprehension skills for safety, job instructions, policy, and guest service.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, sit, touch, climb, lift, and read (see) for extended periods of time (8 hours+).
  • Must be able to regularly and safely lift and move boxes, supplies, and materials weighing 25 lbs.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, noisy, and sometimes limited movement environment.
  • Must be able to maintain sanitation, food safety, and other food service environment requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Be in proper uniform at all times (nametag, pants, hat, etc.) and wear a clean uniform.
  • Be on time for all shifts and follow call-in procedures for absences.
  • Accurately handle monetary transactions, including counting change back to guests.
  • Follow all cash register and cash/credit card handling procedures.
  • Smile and greet all guests, thank everyone that orders, and invite them back.
  • Listen carefully to guests, take orders, and repeat them back.
  • Suggestively sell and promote items.
  • Explain pager and numbering systems.
  • Explain coupons or other offers to guests.
  • Keep the work area clean and neat, without stocking personal items on counters.
  • Keep the display case clean, stocked, and fresh-looking.
  • Follow side duties set forth by management.
  • Clean as you go, maintaining the appearance of the guest-facing area.
  • Maintain sanitation, food safety, and other food service environment requirements.
