About The Position

A Cashier will operate a cash register and perform all related checkout procedures in a fast, efficient, friendly, and accurate manner. This role requires maintaining knowledge of current produce codes, product locations, and assisting guests. The Cashier must follow all ID policies for checks, tobacco, alcohol, and WIC, and be knowledgeable in security and cash drawer accounting procedures. Bagging guest purchases efficiently is also a key responsibility.

Requirements

Weekend shifts are required (Sundays as applicable)
Minimum age: 16 years of age
18 Years of age required to sell tobacco products and/or alcohol
Cash handling experience preferred
Basic math skills, including using units of money, weight, measurement, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages required
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Ability to lift up to 50lbs
Ability to perform repetitive motions

Nice To Haves

Tobacco and Alcohol certified (preferred - willing to train)
