About The Position
The Cashier is responsible for delivering excellent guest service while efficiently handling transactions in a fast-paced quick service restaurant environment. This role requires maintaining a proper and clean uniform, arriving on time, and following attendance policies. The cashier will accurately handle cash and credit transactions, greet guests with a friendly and welcoming attitude, take, repeat, and confirm guest orders, and suggest additional items to enhance the guest experience. They will also explain promotions, coupons, and pager systems, maintain a clean and organized work area, stock and manage display cases, and follow all side work duties assigned by management. Ensuring food safety and sanitation standards, as well as maintaining a positive attitude, are crucial for this position.
