About The Position
McKinnon's is looking for a friendly, dependable Cashier to join our Everett team. This position is ideal for someone seeking steady morning and early-afternoon hours in a welcoming, fast-paced neighborhood market. We are especially interested in applicants with consistent weekday availability. Typical shifts will begin in the morning and end by mid-afternoon.
Requirements
- Dependable, punctual and comfortable working independently
- Friendly and professional when assisting customers
- Able to handle money and transactions accurately
- Comfortable standing for the duration of a shift
- Consistent weekday availability preferred
Nice To Haves
- Previous cashier or customer-service experience is helpful, but we are happy to train the right person
Responsibilities
- Provide friendly and efficient service to every customer
- Accurately scan and bag customer purchases
- Process cash, credit, debit and other forms of payment
- Assist customers with questions and help resolve concerns
- Keep the checkout area clean, organized and properly stocked
- Follow all store policies regarding payments, rewards and customer privacy
- Help with light stocking or other front-end duties when needed
