About The Position

The Cashier works in Goodwill’s Fort Mill store, providing customer service and supporting store and donation operations. The role helps fund community job training, education, and employment programs. Starting pay is $15 per hour, with annual raises and production bonuses. Full-time employees are eligible for medical, dental, vision, paid time off, and tuition reimbursement. Goodwill also offers free skill-building and training programs and team member discounts.

Responsibilities

Provide friendly, efficient customer service at the register by ringing sales, handling payments, bagging merchandise, and thanking customers.
Keep the sales floor stocked and organized by moving clothing from the backroom, merchandising clothing by type and color, and keeping racks tidy and rotated.
Maintain a clean and safe shopping environment, including dressing rooms and work areas.
Greet donors, accept donations, and issue receipts.
Support donation door operations and perform sorting and hanger tasks as needed.
Report safety, security, or theft concerns to store management.
Perform other duties as assigned to support the team.
