About The Position
Wheeling Park is excited to announce the exceptional career opportunity of a Cashier, Golf Shop Attendant, Golf Staff, Pro Shop Assistant, Pro Shop Cashier team member! Qualified candidates will thrive in a hospitality environment and be highly focused on providing superior service to the patrons of Sunset Valley. General Purpose: Assists customers of the Golf Course merchandise and rental shop.
Responsibilities
- Answer phone calls
- Check-in golfers
- Books tee times
- Rents golf equipment
- Assigns golf carts and tee times
- Sells shop merchandise
- Opens, closes, and secures the Pro Shop and carts
- Keeps shelves stocked and tidy
- Keeps work areas clean throughout the shop
- Discusses merchandise and equipment ordering with management
- Opens and closes the cash register, cashes out daily income, makes daily deposits, and enters into the ledger
- Assists all customers as necessary
- Other duties to be assigned
- Monitor and marshal the speed of play
- Monitor the parking lot
- Serve Snacks, Hot Dogs, Soft Drinks & Beer
- Oversee club fitting services in the golf shop
