About The Position

The Cashier/Server is the face of the restaurant and plays an integral role in customers’ dining experiences. The role builds rapport with customers, answers menu questions, takes food and beverage orders, serves food and drinks, and processes payments. The ideal candidate is friendly, outgoing, attentive to detail, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill is a fast-casual restaurant franchise serving made-to-order Greek recipes with quality ingredients and a focus on hospitality.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a server is preferred.
• Friendly and outgoing personality.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing for long periods and carrying trays.
• Familiarity with food safety guidelines.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Take food and beverage orders from customers.
• Answer questions about the menu and food preparation.
• Provide accurate orders to kitchen staff.
• Check with customers periodically during meals to ensure they are satisfied.
• Serve food and drinks.
• Provide customers with their checks and process payment.
