About The Position

Il Forno Pizza is looking for qualified individuals to join the team at our neighborhood restaurant. This position is responsible for taking customers orders, setting/clearing tables, running food, folding silverware, washing/polishing drinking glasses, restocking merchandise, and opening/closing the dining room. This person should have a positive attitude, be enthusiastic and enjoy working with all types of people. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills and prior experience working in the foodservice industry.

Requirements

High School diploma or GED
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Ability to follow all safe food handling procedures and sanitation practices
Ability to serve customers quickly, efficiently and kindly
Ability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds
Must be able to stand for long periods, bend, lift, and reach over your head

Responsibilities

Take customer orders

Ensure workstations are stocked with necessary products
Clean and sanitize all work areas and customer-seating areas
Adhere to restaurant standards set forth by the CDC
