About The Position

Performs food outlet counter service, cashier, and host duties as required. The role may involve taking food and beverage orders, minimal food preparation and/or packaging, and delivering orders. Provides prompt, friendly, and efficient guest service while supporting food and beverage outlet operations and following applicable Tribal Ordinances, Regulations, internal controls, and standard operating procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Attend and complete the California Department of ABC Lead Training Program.
• Obtain a Riverside County Health Department card within one week of employment.
• Ability to stand, move, and work throughout the property, including walking up to 1½ miles, climbing stairs, and standing for extended periods.
• Ability to grasp, bend, lift, carry, or otherwise move goods weighing at least 25 pounds intermittently.
• Sufficient hand dexterity to use office equipment, including a computer keyboard, calculator, general office equipment, and a multi-line telephone.

Nice To Haves

• Previous cash-handling experience.
• Previous dining room host experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform food and beverage counter service, including taking orders, packing orders, and delivering food.
• Enter and control orders through the register for each transaction, maintaining accountability for food and drinks served.
• Count and balance the bank with the cage.
• Seat guests promptly, politely, and efficiently while ensuring an equal distribution among servers.
• Answer phones and direct calls appropriately.
• Handle initial complaints and inform the manager on duty.
• Remain up to date on food and beverage offerings and hours of operation for all food and beverage outlets.
• Provide excellent service to guests and internal clients.
• Comply with Tribal Ordinances and Regulations, the ACCRS and SRC System of Internal Controls, and Standard Operating Procedures.
