Cashier / Host Pool (Seasonal)
About The Position
Responsible for the seating of customers, taking reservations, all cashiering and filling of orders. This role involves greeting customers, making decisions about seating large groups, directing dining room personnel, and ensuring customer needs and special requests (including for children, individuals with disabilities, or food allergies) are met. The position also includes fulfilling payment for restaurant checks, adhering to cash handling procedures, maintaining a clean and organized station, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory controls, specifically the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be able to qualify for and maintain licensure as required by Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.
- Must have full working knowledge of MICROS POS.
- Must be Serv-Safe certified.
- Must be TIPS or RAMP certified.
- Must be knowledgeable and adhere to all PLCB regulations.
Responsibilities
- Greeting customers as they arrive at the facility and thank them for their patronage upon departure.
- Making decisions about where large groups of customers will sit in the restaurant.
- Directing and instructing the dining room personnel on customer needs to ensure customers receive fast and quality service.
- Ensuring a group's special needs or accommodation requests are met, including services for small children, individuals with disabilities, or food allergies.
- Fulfilling payment for all restaurant checks.
- Adhering to cash handling SOP’s and variance policy.
- Ensuring the station is kept clean and organized before, during, and after shift.
- Ensuring compliance with all regulatory controls and the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.
