About The Position

We are looking for a Host/Cashier who will greet every guest with a prompt and friendly welcome. You are the guest’s first and last impression of Perkins American Food Co. – have fun with it! Founded in 1958 as a single pancake house in Ohio, Perkins American Food Co. has transformed into the nation’s leading family restaurant. Requirements

• No experience is required.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand, walk, reach, and bend for extended periods

Nice To Haves

• Prior host/cashier experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greets and seats guests upon arrival, maintaining a waitlist as needed
• Sells merchandise including gift cards and bakery items
• Ensures the host station and other areas stay clean and stocked throughout the shift
• Takes and packages to-go orders, ensuring accuracy of the orders, and takes payments from guests
• All other duties as assigned
