About The Position
The Cashier/Floor Associate is responsible for delivering a highly satisfied customer experience through engaging and interacting with customers, following customer experience principles, and maintaining a clean and organized store. The role follows operational, merchandise, loss prevention, labor, and safety standards. Associates may be cross-trained across multiple areas to support business needs. The position includes accurately processing purchases and returns, promoting credit and loyalty programs, preparing and merchandising products for the sales floor, and participating in store recovery and cleanliness. Associates support a positive store culture, provide and accept feedback, and contribute to shrink-reduction goals. Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements

Responsibilities
- Engage and interact with customers to deliver a highly satisfied customer experience.
- Model customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
- Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
- Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and count change according to operating procedures.
- Promote credit and loyalty programs.
- Follow merchandising philosophy, procedures, and standards.
- Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
- Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day as needed.
- Maintain sales-floor organization, cleanliness, and recovery standards and participate in maintaining the cleanliness of the entire store.
- Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
- Follow labor laws, policies, and procedures.
- Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
- Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
